The Royal City Council of Klang (MBDK) will be joining the SMG Mega Mangrove Cleanup 2026 Programme in conjunction with World Mangrove Day and the Selangor State International Day of Forests Celebration on 26 July 2026 at Mangrove Point, Raja Lumu Permanent Forest Reserve, Port Klang.

The programme invites the community to come together in preserving mangrove ecosystems, which serve as natural barriers, wildlife habitats and vital assets for environmental sustainability.

Adding to the excitement, the first 1,000 participants will have the opportunity to be part of an attempt to set a record in the Malaysian Book of Records.
