SHAH ALAM, 15 JUNE: Royal City Council of Klang (MBDK) raided several premises operating without licences at Jalan Abadi 10E/KU8, Meru last Thursday.

According to MBDK, the premises involved included grocery stores, live chicken storage and sales facilities, food premises, barbershops, workshops, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder storage facilities.

“Eight inventory forms were issued for the purpose of seizing all business-related items involved,” said MBDK in a statement on Facebook.

In a separate operation, MBDK also identified six houses along Jalan Teratai, Klang that were conducting unlicensed business activities, including grocery stores, food premises, barbershops, and liquor sales.

The council added that regular monitoring will be intensified to ensure cleanliness, safety, and the well-being of the local community remain protected.
