SHAH ALAM, 3 August: The Royal City Council of Klang (MBDK) is inviting small and medium enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs to apply for retail booths during the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2026, which will be held from 15 to 24 August.

MBDK announced that applications are open from today until 12 August via the www.mylesen.mbdk.gov.my portal.

According to the council, the opportunity is open to food and beverage vendors operating through food trucks or tents, subject to the designated venue.

The available locations include Padang Sultan Suleiman for the rugby competition from 20 to 23 August, Pandamaran Hockey Stadium for hockey from 15 to 23 August, and Dewan Bukit Raja for table tennis from 18 to 23 August.

MBDK said vendors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limited number of booth spaces available.

“Don't miss the opportunity to grow your business by securing a retail booth at SUKMA Selangor 2026, where thousands of athletes, officials, supporters and visitors will gather.

“Join us in supporting SUKMA Selangor 2026 while empowering local entrepreneurs and strengthening the local economy,” the council said in a statement.

SUKMA 2026 is scheduled to take place from 15 to 24 August, while Para SUKMA 2026 will be held from 5 to 14 September.

The Games will feature 469 medal events across 37 sports, while Para SUKMA will contest 316 medal events in 10 sports.

The official opening ceremony of SUKMA 2026 is scheduled to be held at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam in a modest yet vibrant celebration.
